Gulf Crane Services has certified trained technicians to refurbish marine diesel engines. Each engine is rebuilt to OEM specifications Gulf Crane Service has a wide variety of engines refurbished to OEM specifications. Many makes and models are available upon request. Engine Exchange Program

All engines are completely rebuilt to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications and come with a 6 month GCS standard warranty. This also will reduce your equipment down time.

Engine Refurbishing Process

First, engine piston, camshaft and crankshaft journal bores are precision machined to the next size.
Depending on type and original engine wear, new cylinder liners are installed.
If the crankshaft and camshaft passes inspection, journals are ground to the next size under.
If not, the crankshaft and camshaft are replaced.
If applicable to the engine, new piston and rod assemblies are added; rebuilt or new heads, fuel injectors, fuel injector pump, water pump, oil pump, oil coolers, after cooler, intercooler, etc.
Engine accessories such as the starter, alternator, and all electrical sensors are replaced with new or rebuilt/refurbished components, as per customer direction.
